Within the whirling shadows dwells a solemn prelude to obliteration.
Dancing over the skies and the moon, deafening the world with its sombre song.
Through the flames of passion, awakened is the urge of death and disease.
Then vice and virtue turn ashen; woe unto Earth, the primal essence is unleashed.
And then the silence breeds horrid, a crescendo of screams in a thundering void.
Crossing the barren umbral ruins, ghostly soaring the starless swarthy sky.
And through the flames of hatred, awakened is the spawn of blood and tears.
Genesis unhallowed; blessed be The One that which even Darkness fears.

I saw these gents open the evening for DWeF in Trier some weeks ago. The vocalist seemed terribly shy between songs and then went full-on beastmode on the vocals again; him overcoming this was one of the most metal things I have ever seen. Vi Overlevde is, excuse this, bizarrely good. Not too posty, but still with a remarkable edge and a pretty unique feel to it. Maybe I'm still carried away by the live performance, but alas! This is great. Ensomhet is... beyond words. Kom til meg! David Fischer

The atmosphere flows from this album! No games, it's the real deal! Dark, original, and most definitely, brutal! The pacing really pulls you in, and doesn't let go! erebusssss
