Unseen and silent, accursed, corrupt, it beckons me.
Beset my essence. Damnation mirrored; my own reflection tainted.
Appear; my sins defile my skin.
Withered and lost is my youth.
Abhorred; I stare into my soul.
To find it pale and drained; no sign of life remain.
Avert; I turn to face myself.
Monstrous eyes lock with mine.
Aghast; the truth burns my eyes.
Blinded I fall through the dark, towards unspoken realms of pain.
I fall from the light…
Into the unknown night…
The winds embrace me, cold and unforgiving.
And lo, forsaken, I will never see the sun again.
And whispering, hissing voices spoke unto me, words of malice and blight, truths that festered and sickened my very soul. And I feared thus demon I became.
I became… forlorn and empty, accursed, corrupt, a malicious soul.
A spirit of hatred that dwells upon and manifests damnation
Appeared; my sins defiled my skin.
Withered and lost was my youth.
Abhorred; I stared into my soul.
And found it paled and drained; no sign of life remained.
Averted; I turned to face myself.
Monstrous eyes locked with mine.
Aghast; the truth burned my eyes.
Blinded I fell through the dark, towards unspoken realms of pain.
I fell from the light…
I fell thus demon I became…

I saw these gents open the evening for DWeF in Trier some weeks ago. The vocalist seemed terribly shy between songs and then went full-on beastmode on the vocals again; him overcoming this was one of the most metal things I have ever seen. Vi Overlevde is, excuse this, bizarrely good. Not too posty, but still with a remarkable edge and a pretty unique feel to it. Maybe I'm still carried away by the live performance, but alas! This is great. Ensomhet is... beyond words. Kom til meg! David Fischer

The atmosphere flows from this album! No games, it's the real deal! Dark, original, and most definitely, brutal! The pacing really pulls you in, and doesn't let go! erebusssss
Utterly indescribable new record from Greek metal band Locust Leaves features corkscrewing tempos, manic vocal shifts & dense arrangements. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 6, 2017
